           Currently, the Nigerian blogosphere is filled with so many blogs. But currently there are some specifiic blog niches that are so packed up that it is even almost difficult to breathe. Its already a known fact for bloggers that fashion and celebrity blogging is the most competitive of all,  with so many blogs struggling for some space. So? Remember this post is for newbies and you may wonder why it seems I'm discouraging you, but I'ld like you to know how competitive your chosen niche is. 

           But hey! there could be numerous blogs out there, but most of them are shit. I mean shit! A lot of bloggers out there are'nt up to a fraction of your ability. And a lot of so called fashion blogs are just empty and filled with junk. So? you've got a nice opportunity, fashion blogging may be competitive but you can beat it.   Write irresistable content: Want make it big big? then create some great content. Spend some time between the first word on your post and your publishing time. I mean don't just post anything, post some well researched gist. don't post what others are posting on a particular topic, but make your stories interesting.

  Post regularly; A lot of fashion blogs are just dead because there content are updated once in a solar year. The web stinks of so many blogs with stale invalid content. The only way to get some dedicated readers around your blog is simply by creating that good stuff you can create regularly.

Make noise about your content: Get people to know your stuff exists. get across to people on the social media. Tell your friends who love celebs about your blog. You could advertise on free public foruums too.

Use visual media: Hey! its a fashion blog, so it should contain great pics, videos and infographs. Get pictures to back up your gist.  It will be better if the pictures backing up you news have been created and tweaked by you.

Never copy others content: This is a popular feature of most Nigerian blogs. A lot of fashion blogs just cop, copy, and copy the content on other blogs. As a new blogger work hard to avoid it. You could visit other blogs related to your niche to find out  what's going on, but never copy what someone has worked hard to create, at least not without permission.

Use your comments well: Never ignore comments by your readers. They are just too precious. Make good use of them to interact with your readers. With this you can keep them coming back for more. Your blog posts should be able to get comments out of your audience, reply the comments and make them feel important.

Build an audience on the social media: Create a fan page on face book and link it to your blog with a feed system. Also create google+ , twitter, linked in and pintrest accounts. With this you could get your blogs presence all over the social media. Don't forget to link these social media accounts to your log posts so your blog's fans can follow your content when ever they're on the social media.
